Abstract/Summary
This documentary examines the inadequacies of bike commuting laws and infrastructure in Metro Manila, and the challenges and risks that a bike commuter faces on the road. Two case studies, Jolly Ubaldo and By Cuenca, have shown that people, regardless of social class, still bike commute despite the difficulties they may face, as well as the lack of protection they have. Their reasons range from less commuting time and costs, less maintenance and gasoline costs, to health benefits and shorter commute time. There are also House and Senate bills for the safety of bike commuters, but they have yet to be passed.
