Abstract/Summary

NETCOR (Network Equipment Technologies Corp.) is a Database and Graphics Conversion Company founded in 1988 which works in dynamic partnership with the other affiliates of SVI (Software Ventures International) in providing internationally an expansive range of systems and information solutions and services. The dilemma lies in how NETCOR can speed up information dissemination about their company as well as the services they offer especially to their European, American, and Japanese clients. NETCOR's Web Page is an on-line medium for faster, more convenient information dissemination worldwide. Aside from allowing global interaction through the Internet, it has the capacity to contain digitized documents, scanned images, graphic designs, and multi-media features: NETCOR's Web Page consists of the following: Welcome Page the company's four major services, namely CAD Conversion, GIS Solutions, AM/FM Conversion, and 3D Modeling, Rendering, and Animation three sample applications for each service Overview of these services, Inquiry Page Company Profile and Text Version of the Page. There is also a link to SVI's Home Page. As methodology, the proponents made an extensive study about NETCOR by researching and interviewing their Vice President, GIS Specialist, and employees by gathering corporate documents like brochures, project files, graphic designs, pictures, video shots of their procedures, and other related materials. The group used the Internet for necessary programs and for further research. The group was allowed by to use the company's facilities. All production materials and costs were provided and shouldered by NETCOR. As NETCOR's Web Page was being developed, all requirements and conditions of the company were highly considered in this project. With the heightening of global competition in the conversion field, NETCOR believes that a Corporate Web Page such as this is an indispensable tool in fulfilling their corporate vision: to offer multi-disciplinary conversion solutions worldwide.
