Abstract/Summary
People outside the anime community think that anime fans are completely brainwashed by anime. However, anime fans have the power to decide what to do with the information they receive. This study shows that despite the effects of anime of fans, they are not just passive receivers because anime actually gives them a means to do something relevant and constructive. This study was made so that people who are not familiar with anime can have a deeper look in the anime community and understand it, so that they will not make assumptions about the people who engage in anime-related activities.
