Abstract/Summary
The research is about election offenses, particularly vote-buying regarding the periods wherein such act is, as well as not prohibited and its effects on the past, current and future state of corruption in the Philippines. The researchers will analyze the effects of prohibiting vote-buying during the campaign period, the day before elections and the election day as well as the effects of not prohibiting such act during the registration period which forms part of the electoral process as well. It will also include a discussion on whether or not the Omnibus Election Code should be amended and the percussion of doing such.
