Abstract/Summary

The popularity of social networking sites today, companies have used these sites to extend their reach to their customers. Social Networking Sites have been able to spread information regarding different products, services, offerings, activities and the like of a company. With the number of users and the amount of activity conducted on social networking sites, companies have been able to promote, advertise and raise awareness among potential and actual customer. This study aims to assist selected small and medium enterprises, mainly within the information technology, electronics and electrical appliance industries, increase their competitiveness within their respective markets by to properly using these websites and analyze the potential benefits they may receive in terms of marketing and customer relations.
