Abstract/Summary

Barangay Poblacion is the first local government unit established in Makati City. It is headed by a Barangay Captain and a team of Barangay Councilors and employees whose goal is to provide appropriate venues and opportunities that focus on the needs and well-being of its residents. The proposed Anti-Littering Campaign Plan seeks to address Barangay Poblacion's communication problem of effectively communicating its anti-littering advocacy to its residents. Through a series of materials and activities, this plan aims to provide residents with adequate information and appropriate venues to practice the anti-littering advocacy of Barangay Poblacion. The group used literature on Individual Behavior Change Campaigns and referred to the Marikina City Anti-Littering Campaign in structuring the study. The Five-Stage Model for Sustaining a Community Campaign was also used as the basis of the design and development of the actual campaign plan.
