Abstract/Summary
Hiling is a short fantasy-light drama film. The story follows 8 year old Eman who receives a Magic 8 Ball from his secret Santa which is revealed to actually grant wishes. He then goes through a series of hit and miss wishes, ultimately abusing its power. The theme centers on the danger of instant gratification and its relation to increase in impulsive behavior.
The entire film was shot in 4 days with two 7D Cameras. Its edit was made by Franchesca Elyzza Castro and Mila Ayana Tomas with a running time of 23 minutes and 30 seconds. The music scoring was composed by Hans Jason Canteras.
