Abstract/Summary
Ngiti ni Juan is a documentary about a fourteen year boy named John Ticzon who has a cleft lip and palate. The film showcases his story, the hardships he faces and how he, with the help of his loved ones, manages his condition.
Our thesis is developing social awareness among Filipinos on children born with facial deformities, primarily clefts of the lip and palate. By sharing John's story we hopefully inspire and inform others about the reality of his condition.
