Abstract/Summary

A grid is an online network that allows its members which comes from everywhere around the world to share resources, this includes memory and disk space and computing power as well. Alien one of these grids, it accepts jobs from the users and seeks a node within the grid that can compute for this job. It classifies the nodes into a Virtual Organization, these are organizations formed virtually wherein its members do the same computation or the nodes that has the same resources which they share within the organization. The grid recognizes each organization through its organization head which decides which node within the organization the job will be assigned to. Each Organization has its own VO Admin the VO admin needs to be able to see who accessed what in the organization at a given time.

This research will provide VO heads with audit logs that will enable them to trace who accessed what info or job in the grid, together with all the information regarding authentication and authorization including the time it happened. This will also tell the VO heads all the accesses that happened including the information this will come with syslog levels that will also tell the heads if a certain problem occurred and if it is serious and needs urgent attention.
