Abstract/Summary
Problem in the development of open source Massively Multiplayer Online Games have arisen because of development time and the flexibility of the open source MMOG platform being used. This is because there are game elements that are required the game to be developed however the platform does not support these elements, thus affecting development time.
In this study, several open source MMOG platforms will be assessed in order compare and contrast in choosing a platform to implement a game. In implementing a game, research about game genre and game elements will be dine to accommodate the game to be implemented. Lastly, through the implementation of the game, recommendation will be done for the platform extension to allow the platform selected to be flexible between genres.
