Abstract/Summary

This paper discusses preemptive goal programming and presents the flexibility of the method in solving real life problems through the graphical and modified simplex approach. A background on product life cycle with respect to cost and time is given, and a case study on a medical manufacturing company in [1] is solved using both graphical and modified simplex method.
