Abstract/Summary
Web-based computer aided instruction for operating systems better known as OPERASY uses Moodle course management system to provide E-learning environment. This thesis aims to provide a learning resource for students regarding operating systems. Discussed are the concepts behind operating system design and its main tasks which are the process management, memory management, device management and file system management. These include animations and simulations supported by voice over to stimulate learning for the subject matter and comprehensive quizzes to assess learning among students.
