One hundred twenty-seven (127) bacterial isolates from a mangrove area in Sitio Kay Reyna Barangay Lumanyag were described in terms of their colonial and microscopic morphology, and Gram reaction. All isolates were screened for antimicrobial property to clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. Thirty-seven (37) out of 127 bacterial isolates showed antimicrobial activity.
