The determination of the different physico-chemical characteristics such as temperature, light intensity, transparency, pH, total solids, dissolved oxygen, nitrate and phosphate contents were performed in five different sampling stations in Talin Bay in Batangas from September-November 1991.The average water temperature per sampling sites ranged from - 30.8-31.4 C average light intensity-609-799 foot candles average transparency of water - 55.880-82.550 centimeters average total solids - 32,640-35,080 mg/1 average pH-8.28-8.54 average dissolved oxygen-3.21-5.72 mg/1 and average phosphate contents-0.0438-0.0716 mg/1
