Abstract/Summary

General and academic self-concept of 432 students across the seven different colleges of De La Salle University were determined using the Marsh Self-Description Questionnaire (SDQ) III, and compared to identify any significant differences on the variables sex, year level, college, and campus. No significant differences were found for any comparison on general self-concept there were significant differences on academic self-concept for comparisons on the variables college, sex, year level, and campus. General self-concept was consistently higher than academic self-concept.
