Abstract/Summary
The automated bathtub is a study on temperature control and automatic dispensing of liquid. The automated bathtub maintains the temperature of a desired setting by turning the heating element on and off. The heating element turns on when the temperature of the water goes below the set temperature and it turns off when the set temperature has been reached. It used a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of water. The study also involved the automatic liquid dispenser. It automatically dispenses liquid when the sensor has been triggered. The infrared sensor was used for detection and was connected to a solenoid valve which pumps the liquid.
