Amid the current controversial sociopolitical of the Philippines is an imagined story about a woman part of an entity set to eradicate the malaise of society in a semi-dystopian future. Butchers and a Laundrywoman is a feature-length screenplay which follows the story of Gemini Manuel, a ruthless woman whose 'normal life' as an undercover assassin working as a laundry woman for an elite family was disrupted by the death of her employers and the disappearance of her son. With these harrowing events, Gemini is forced to question what it is really worth to 'cleanse' Philippine society of its malaise if her own family life falls at risk,
