Abstract/Summary
The screenplay tells the story of a young man Miguel Decena who overcomes life's obstacles to make his dream of playing professional basketball in the Philippine Basketball Association a reality.
Miguel's drive and dedication to improve takes him from an inter barangay tournament star to collegiate recruit to PBA Developmental league sensation. Along the way, he learns to deal pain, betrayal, disappointment, competition, and love. All are necessary to prepare him for the biggest game of his life.
Forced into poverty with his siblings Milo and Manilyn at a very young age, Miguel works hard to provide for his family. With the help of Mang Tonyo, a former basketball player, Miguel learns to place the basketball.
