Abstract/Summary

This creative writing thesis takes the form of a novel, telling a fantasy story. Themes such as politics and heroism will be tackled in the story, as well as the struggle with supernatural elements. This will be told mostly in the perspective of the main character, Jake Joaquin, who has to struggle against different kinds of villains. Set in the late years of the second decade of the 21st century, the novel contains social commentaries about the setting, particularly towards cultural and political practices.
