Abstract/Summary

There is an issue in PLDT about the provisioning time of its myDSL service which arose from management initiative and customer expectations. This study is intended to determine the internal and external factors affecting the provisioning time of the installation process of the PLDT myDSL service. A descriptive study method was employed to answer the problem and the objectives of this paper. Out of the five factors discovered in the study, the installation process and the customers emerged as the major factors affecting the provisioning time. It is necessary to focus on these two factors if PLDT wants to improve the provisioning time of its myDSL service. Further investigation of the factors described in this study is recommended.
