Abstract/Summary

This thesis is an advocacy campaign for the promotion of the sewerage and sanitation program of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. for the West Zone of Metro Manila. Because of lack of awareness and apathy, many of the residents in the commercial and industrial centers of Metro Manila located in sewered areas are not connected to the sewer lines, thereby allowing the domestic wastewater generated to go untreated and thus contributing to the worsening of water pollution in the country. Through this campaign, the company wishes to persuade households and businesses alike to avail themselves of sewer connections to ensure that their wastewater will undergo adequate treatment before it is released to the natural waterways. By doing so, they invest in the health and in the future of the next generation, not only reduce the level of water pollution and save the environment.
