Abstract/Summary

This paper is the documentation of my internship during the 2nd term of the academic year 2011-2012.My internship was held at Wyeth Philippines, a production firm whose products are mainly milk for infants, located at Canlubang Industrial Estate Bo Pittland, Cabuyao Laguna 4025. Internship was rendered at the Operations Management Department of the Company.

Included are the tasks and activities I had to accomplish during the duration of my internship accompanied by an explanation in order to elaborate and achieve clarity and understanding for the aforementioned tasks and activities.

My main task was a project born from accessing the situation of the department over the time I've spent at said department. Said project is called the eCampactor, the paperless database thought up and implemented by myself that aims to increase accessibility and minimizing redundancy thereby increasing efficiency.

Aside from eCompactor, my other tasks and activities ranges from Aiding and / or facilitating the Contractors Orientation, a seminar aimed to orient contractors, newly hires as well as interns in the dos and don'ts of the company, Assisting in the numerous Training conducted by the OM Department to the regular employees in order to increase said employees skill sets thereby increasing the overall company productivity, Coordinating the route of the participants of the plant tour during the company's annual Christmas Party, Clerical work, Errands and the occasional grunt work.

Also included are the lessons I have learned during my stay at the company like initiative, adaptability, resourcefulness and time management. Aside from lessons learned, all the skills and traits garnered from this enriching experience are mentioned in this document as well, like punctuality, oral communication and quality consciousness.
