Abstract/Summary

Chicks on Wheels unique selling proposition is its new and unique service of delivering fresh poultry to its target market. Fresh poultry products are sourced from Poultry Business South Tagalog and are fresh upon delivery. Frequencies of orders are based on the sales of Chicks on Wheels and current inventory. Minimum of 1 crate per order is required per transaction and meet up us scheduled early in the morning around 6am in the Paseo Wet Market.

Laguna Bel Air residents requires an efficient and reliable source of fresh chicken daily since it is a healthier protein alternative and has a better value for money. Chicken is one of the most preferred sources of protein of households since it is a good alternative to pork and beef. Our ideal customers would be those prefer the luxury of having their fresh chicken delivered to their homes instead of going to the market to buy it.

The main competitive advantage of it is the idea that we are selling door-to-door. By providing the option to have their chickens delivered, customers will try it at least once. And if they are satisfied with the quality of our chicken and with the delivery service as well, they will be our regular customers.

The selling price of the products is base on a 20% markup from the supplier's price in order for it to be profitable. Prices of competitors are also considered in making this price strategy.

I, together with my sibling, managed its daily operations primarily on inventory and on management.

Initial Investment is P 52,130 to cover costs of the Business requirements (Permits and Licenses), freezer, bicycle for delivery, initial stock and for operating cash in business.

Target Market is Laguna Bel Air residents. Distribution of flyers via Laguna Bel Air Clubhouse homeowners association is done to promote the service. Another promotion strategy used is a tarpaulin that is placed on the Laguna Bel Air's shuttle on September in order to reach more possible customers.
