Abstract/Summary

This paper contains the different amendments of the Medicare program of the United States. All amendments since its implementation in 1965 was taken down until the latest which was in 1990.

Political, economic, and social factors were taken into consideration in discussing why these amendments took place. Several diagrams are presented within the text for easy understanding of the discussion.
