Abstract/Summary
This thesis presents an alternative method for finding the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a certain n x n matrix without the use of determinants. This alternative method was discussed by William A. McWorter Jr. and Leroy F. Meyers in their article entitled "Computing Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors Without Determinants". Some fundamental concepts in Linear Algebra, which are needed in the discussion, are presented in this paper.
