Abstract/Summary
The Western Police District Information Systems plan is a study on the problems of the WPD as far as the need for information is concerned. The proponents identify here the goals, objectives, mission, vision, and direction of the WPD and how Information Technology aids in the attainment of their key function-service to the public of the City of Manila.
With the use of James Martin's Information Engineering the proponents consolidate findings out of the study. These are used in the identification of what aspects of the organization is in need of information technology and how it will provide them with opportunities in decision-making, planning and information processing.
The proponents would wish this study on the WPD be a pilot program where other districts can follow since Districts follow a common structure in organization and function.
