Abstract/Summary
This study tackled the present phenomena of why movie actors shifted to politics. Nine actors who are now in public office were purposively chosen. This study employed an exploratory design. A frequency table was made for the gathered data. The data was analyzed and patterns/trends were obtained. The results showed that the movie actors decided to enter politics in order to reform the government and to help and serve the people. But the underlying reason why they joined the political arena seems to be their desire for power. The reason for such findings were discussed.
