Abstract/Summary
Linear Regression Analysis is used by the researchers to be able to come up with a model which would predict the amount of medicare benefits by using factors that may significantly affect these. Included in these factors are the following: the type of hospital, the hospital class, room accommodation, number of days of confinement, room and board fees, amount of medicine bought, medical case, type of surgery administered, professional fees, medical expense benefits, and surgical services. The statistical package for the Social Sciences (SPSS/PC+) is used for efficient computation of the various statistical measures used in the study.
