Abstract/Summary
The method of least squares is used to come up with a regression trend equation of a nonlinear exponential model.A software is developed which can do the following:1. Graph the curve of a given set of data2. Graph the log curve of a given set of data3. Compute the regression coefficients of a regression trend equation4. Test the significance of the regression coefficient using T-test5. Estimate the value of a dependent variable Y in terms of a given independent variable X.The software is developed using TURBO PASCAL 5.5 and a Super VGA Monitor. This software should be run on a computer with a colored monitor for an efficient execution.
