Abstract/Summary
This study was conducted at the Fr. Fidelis Garden located at the back of the Good Shepherd Parish, Regalado Avenue, Fairview Park, Quezon City to identify and describe the different plants. The data collection was done from February until June 1997. There was a total 78 species and varieties of these number, there are 66 genera belonging to 32 families of vascular plants found in the garden. Of these, eight species are fern and fern allies, one is a gymnosperm and 69 species are angiosperms. Of conservation value are the indigenous species of ferns and fern allies of the genera Platycerium, Diplazium, Asplenium, Adiantum, Davallia, Selaginella a gymnosperm of the genera Cycas, palms of the genera Caryota, Corypha and Licuala, and other orchid species belonging to the genera Cattleya, Dendrobium and Vanda.
