Abstract/Summary

There are different approaches in Network Communication of devices and such are used in Telecom, Internet, and Television etc. The most famous of all of these is the GPS which makes use of the satellite which connects to different cell sites. What if the question arises that there are no cell sites to be found, such as forests, ruins, abandon cities, etc.? This question renders the use of GPS useless since it operates on a basis of wide range cell site. Our study is all about the use of portable network devices wherein we will use 3 devices (comprised of RF Kits) composed of 2 beacons (cell sites) and a main device being used by the user. The 3 devices will communicate with each other through signal transferring wherein the main device defines the point of position through the algorithm of trilateration. As these devices pin point the location of the user, we are to install a microcontroller to display the path taken or position of the user based from the 2 beacons which will be displayed through GUI-MATLAB.
