Abstract/Summary

This study aims to determine the satisfaction level of NMPC's medical representatives (Med Reps) to the HR practices: Training and Development, Compensation, and Employee-Employer Relations. Moreover, in order to expand the study, the researchers aimed to know where New MarketLink Pharmaceutical Corporation (NMPC) can focus its efforts and resources to improve a particular region or any of the three practices by the Human Resource Department. The major hypothesis of the study is to determine if there are significant differences on the satisfaction levels of the Med Reps based on their profiles.

The researchers conducted a survey on the 127 Med Reps of NMPC. The researchers found out that the majority of the Med Reps are satisfied with NMPC's HR practices. However, out of all the 3 HR practices, the group found out that Compensation had a lower satisfaction rating than Training & Development and Employee-Employer Relations. Furthermore, the T-test and ANOVA showed that the only significant differences present were found within the Sex classification of the Med Reps particularly on Training and Development and Compensation.

Lastly, the group recommended to the company to focus on their allowances to their Med Reps and other areas where they can consider exploring not covered by the study.
