Abstract/Summary
ReGeSys is a Natural Language Generation system that generates reports for the Community Bases Monitoring System (CBMS) application. CBMS is a system which assesses the poverty level of a certain community through data gathering (survey) and analysis, then presenting it as raw data. With ReGeneSys, CBMS can automatically compute these raw data and generate a report bearing the necessary information. Surveys conducted showed that the computer generated(CG) and the human authored(HA) reports were presenting the same message and also had problems with grammar such as subject-verb agreement and form. Automatic evaluation on the other hand showed an average score ranging from 0.3195 to 0.4698 using BLEU score, precision, recall and f-Measure showing the CG and HA were quite different from each other in terms of word sequence and structure.
