Abstract/Summary
Urine analysis was conducted in one hundred fifty-two (152) children, ages 3 to 13 in Barangay San Andres in Isla Verde, Batangas. Standard physical, chemical and microscopic laboratory examinations were conducted to determine urine abnormalities.
Physical examination included observation of color and transparency and measurement of pH with pH paper and specific gravity with urinometer. Chemical examination included Benedict's test for glucose and coagulation test for albumin. Microscopic examination included observation.
