Abstract/Summary

The Multimedia on the Evolution of the Philippine Flag and the Birth of the Philippine National Anthem (MMPF-PNA) is a presentation that shows how the Philippine National Flag evolved, and how the Philippine National Anthem was made.

The primary users of the system are high school students who are studying history. However, the researchers of the National Historical Institute can also use it for research purposes. It aims to make learning history for them more interesting and fun by presenting the flag and the anthem in pictures, video, animation, textual information, and sounds, which are more appealing compared to the materials that are usually used in schools.

The presentation is a significant contribution to education. With this, students will be able to experience the benefits that the advancements in technology offer. They will be persuaded to give more of their attention because of the interesting way the system is presented. Because of this students can gain more information and store more knowledge about the flag and the anthem."
