Abstract/Summary

La Salle Greenhills-Library System (LSGH-LIBSYS) is a library information system for the La Salle Greenhills High School Library or more formally known as the High School Learning Resource Center (HSLRC).

The La Salle Greenhills High School Learning Resource Center caters to the different information materials required by the whole community. The La Salle Greenhills High School Learning Resource Center has four areas of concern namely: the Facilities improvement and development, the Collections printed and non-printed materials, the library services, and staff development.

LSGH-LIBSYS addresses the computerization of the services of the library circulations section for the books collection and the vertical files collection. The system replaces the High School library's manual system with an information system equipped with its own database and configured in a network environment. It also has the capability of being integrated with Bar Code technology on its interface."
