In the study, the researchers developed several models to explain student performance in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting courses in De La Salle University - Manila. No factors included in the research significantly affect student performance in Cost Accounting courses for those who took them more than once. Basic accounting grades seem to explain the result in the performances of students in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting courses, and the researchers attributed this to the basic accounting courses being the foundation for future accounting courses.
