Abstract/Summary
The paper studies three chosen stories of Nick Joaquin such as Candido's Apocalypse , Summer Solstice and The Legend of the Virgin's Jewel . As a framework for the analysis, the book written by Eric Rabkin has been used. The three non-normal occurrences describes fantasy in a much clearer view and is applied to the stories. The super-genre is also tackled and applied in the stories.
