Abstract/Summary

Antimicrobial screening of crude extracts from leaf, stem, and bark of Jatropha curcas L. (tubang bakod) using different concentrations of 95 ethyl alcohol and distilled water as solvents yielded negative result. The Paper-Disc Diffusion method was the antimicrobial assay employed and clinical isolates of Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were used as test microorganisms.
