Abstract/Summary
Fifteen macrobenthic algal species were collected from Balayan Bay, Botong, Lemery, Batangas belonging to three divisions, three classes, seven orders, nine families and twelve genera. Under Division Chlorophyta there were seven species collected, namely Enteromorpha clathrata, Ulva reticulata, Chaetomorpha crassa, Boergesenia forbesii, Dictyosphaeria cavernosa, Halimeda opuntia and H. discoidea Division Phaeophyta with five species namely Sargassum cristaefolium, S. ilicifolium, S. serratifolium, Turbinaria conoides and Padina australis and Division Rhodophyta with three species namely Amphiroa foliacea, Jania deccusatodichotoma and Gracilaria arcuata.
