Abstract/Summary

Executive Summary. QUARTO INCORPORATED, is a company that is composed of eight talented, innovative and young entrepreneurs studying in De La Salle University. The main vision-mission of the company is to enhance the way of living of people by improving the quality of the room. The company will start their main thrust by producing their first product ever, ISTUFF. The company plans to manufacture their product at 53 Oslo Avenue, Capitol Homes, Diliman, Quezon City. The proponents will maintain the Quarto Incorporated for nine months. The first product of Quarto Incorporated is the ISTUFF, Innovative stuff. ISTUFF is an innovative floor sofa that can give a softer experience . The feasibility study covers the objectives, scope and limitations and the significance of the study. The study will also cover the technical, market, legal and management, financial and socio-economic dimensions of ISTUFF.

ISTUFF-innovative stuff is a circular floor sofa that is made from Speedo cloth with a 100% fiber filling along with a small, yet effective backrest. It has a height of 26 inches and is 30 inches in diameter. ISTUFF is termed as a floor sofa that gives a softer experience . The production of a unit of ISTUFF is composed of four basic process: tracing, cutting and sawing, sewing and stuffing. The proponents employed the Assembly Line Method.

Quarto Incorporated surveyed the proposed primary market, composed of Condominiums and Villages that are accessible and are willing to participate in the study. The company applied the systematic sampling to their primary target market, namely Loyola Heights, North Greenhills, One Beverly Place, Saint Ignatius and White Plains. The secondary market was not surveyed due to time and labor constraints.

Quarto Incorporated will contribute to the socio-economic welfare of the community by creating employment. The corporation would also pay taxes incurred in the operations to further the goals of the government. The company will take care of the environment by employing the most effective waste disposal in the operations of the company. The study will give the proponents vital information of the different aspects of the project, thus determining the viability of the product.
