Abstract/Summary
Collaborative tagging involves the process by which users can add tags to a certain object. It is usual for pictures, music, video or other multimedia or online content to be tagged; however, tagging software modules remains unpopular if not non-existent. In open-source communities, software documentation is largely-neglected. This paper proposes a framework of using collaborative tagging systems as an alternative approach for software documentation in open-source communities.
