Abstract/Summary
After the demise of the Cold War, the European Union and Japan altered their foreign policy on aid. The researchers laid down four criteria - historical ties economic condition population and political ideology or form of government, in identifying the new pattern for EU and Japans grant disbursements to ASEAN member countries. The timeframe of the study ranges from 1990 to 2005.
