Abstract/Summary
This thesis displays a working computer program, which will aid the user in the selection of a bridge superstructure appropriate for most settings in the Philippines. With the use of different data gathered, the program will house a database that contains information gathered from experts in the field of bridge design with the use of the expert system. The information in the database will then be a basis of comparison to the parameters the user will input. After much sorting by the program, it will finally output the best bridge superstructure possible on the basis of direct cost for that setting.
