Examples of the sections concentrated in this study are the projections of buildings over streets and sidewalk, the compliances to the Law to enhance mobility, the truncation of corner buildings, etc.

Survey forms about the public's awareness towards the National Building Code of the Philippines were conducted. Interviews with practicing engineers and building inspectors in the City Hall of Manila were accomplished. The investigation of the different commercial buildings was done around District 5 of the City of Manila.
