Abstract/Summary
This study is aimed in identifying and describing the working and living conditions of selected Filipino immigrants in the United States specifically in Los Angeles. It would also identify the different factors, which prompted them to migrate in the United States including the psychological, social and economic problems encountered by the Filipino immigrants. This study will also deal with the various coping strategies utilized by these Filipino immigrants in dealing with their problems. To achieve this, the group conducted a survey to selected Filipino immigrants in Los Angeles. Through the results of the primary data, the survey questionnaire, the researchers establish that in general the Filipino immigrants are experiencing a decent working and living conditions in the United States and that they are earning sufficient salary to support their needs and expenses.
