Abstract/Summary
The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the rent control law specifically BP 877. The evaluation would be based on the achievement of the objectives of the said law. This would be determined through its impact on two communities in Quezon City. The first being Barangay Sto. Nino and the second being Barangay Paltok. A survey was conducted on these two communities. Fifty respondents were purposively selected in each of the two communities to participate in the survey. James Anderson's Policy Evaluation was applied in analyzing the data. The study show that the rent control law had a very minimal impact and could still be upgraded considerably.
