Abstract/Summary

The film starts with he main character, Sophia, as she discloses the events that take place during a vacation she spends with her relatives. Sophia is an introvert and an artist. She has a heavy interest in human forms, making them the object of most of her drawings. In the town where her relatives reside, Sophia encounters and develops a fondness for Jon, the pandesal boy with contagious warmth and infectious smiles. When Sophia withnesses a murder and Jon loses his mother along with his joyful dispoisiotn, Sophia is thrown off-balance, and is determined to help the boy get past his struggle in response to her own internal struggle.
