Abstract/Summary
Offline is a comedy drama about a modern family of five where each one is preoccupied with their own respective gadgets. Though all physically present at home, the members all fail to connect with one another. On their annual family vacation, they are stuck in a place away from their usual distractions forcing them to open about issues that they have been avoiding. The film is by Shaunna Padlan, Anna Quintos and Khalela Talion.
The film presents the irony of how gadgets as a tool for communication both makes and breaks our social lives. It aims to make the viewers realize that relationships can be built and developed without depending on gadgets. The master plot and the story strucure that is used is Sydfield's model.
