Abstract/Summary
This study is an analysis of Jing Mei Woo, a character in Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club. The method by which the researcher has studied the character is Henri Bergson's Snowball Theory, which is primarily concerned with time and memory. The basic premise of this method is that the memory aspect of the novel is what makes the text move.
